As long as I'm at the helm, Traffic++ will NOT be paid.
I could write a wall of text on the subject but the baseline is that I don't feel comfortable selling something without any kind of warranty (support, future updates, compatibility, etc).
I've created this mod to learn, to practice and because this is what I love to do. Getting money out of it has never crossed my mind and the proof of that is that there's currently no way for anyone to send it my way.
Having said that, donations are certainly welcome and very much appreciated. More than just a few bucks, each donation represents someone that really enjoys my mod and that feeling is priceless. So, I'll probably add a paypal link in the next few days (maybe after the next update).
A quick note on the 75%: I read somewhere (Gabe's AMA I think) that Valve takes 30% and the rest is decided by the game developer. Bethesda might have been the greedy one here and CO/PDX may choose other values (if they decide to go with it).
I read that as well after I made this post, and I am glad to hear that Valve is not the one being exceedingly greedy.
I would be more than happy to donate to you so I will continue looking for the Paypal link.
Thanks for being an awesome developer/modder!
Agreed, but since I am not lookin for preferential treatment, or really even a say other than the voting page as to the direction that this mod should go it won't be a problem.
I just feel that jfarias has done an excellent job with this mod so far, including contacting some of us that were having errors with a recent update so that we could test the newer beta features meant to fix the problems. He has been very professional and I would like to help him get some benefit from this mod.
