Some incompatibilities with camera mods + other bugs
I've been using Dynamic Res with camera mods since they were released, and everything seems to be getting buggier. Rather than clog up lots of comment threads, I thought I'd start a discussion about it.

With both your camera mod and Surely's, with Dynamic Res active I have to activate the cameras while scrolled very far out, otherwise the screen gets filled with lines that converge on the horizon and then a milky foggy overlay. Scrolling far out stops this from happening, but it also disables tilt shift at that distance, even when then moving the fp camera closer in. I suspect, then, this has something to do with how Dynamic Res interacts with tilt shift. This is new behaviour that started in the past couple of days.

With both cam mods, since I have to activate them from so far away, when I go back to the normal camera it snaps me all the way back to where I started rather than where I finished with the fp cam. With your fp cam in particular this is annoying because I have to exit the cam to change any settings, like fov and speed, but lose where I was taking screenshots. I don't know if this is new behaviour, because before the lines/fog problem I was activating the camera without being scrolled far out, so if it's related to the camera 'remembering' coordinates while scrolled to a certain distance that wouldn't have been an issue.

With Surely's cam, I can't use the fov/zoom right click+drag control while Dynamic Res is active. If I deactivate Dynamic Res in the content manager it works as intended.

Since a day or so ago, activating any res between 100-200% results in the image being softer than it should be. Above 200% seems fine. I was previously playing at 150%, and upping it to 250% for screenshots, and this hadn't been a problem until now.

Also since a day or so ago, I'm getting worse performance with Dynamic Res. As I say, I would play at 150% quite smoothly, and up it to 250% for screenshots. Sometimes (not every time), however, I lose shadows moving the scale to anything, even low amounts, and they won't come back when hitting reset. In addition, my fps plummets, and that won't come back when hitting reset either. Usually at this point the slider stops working altogether and my only option is to restart the game.

I think that's everything I've catalogued so far. I don't know what changes you've made to the code over the past few days, but it's certainly become less stable for me, and introduced more incompatibilities with camera mods (although I've never been able to use Surely's fov controls with Dynamic Res active).

I'm forcing dx9 through the command line because I was getting overlay graphical errors in the vanilla game without it. I'm unsure if this has been patched by the devs yet, I haven't tried going back to dx11.

Hey, thanks for the detailed feedback. The "blurry" screen bug has been fixed in the latest DR version. I'll look into your other points soon :)

Trying the new version now. Great improvement, thank you for your hard work. In particular, the vortex lines/fog problem is gone completely that I can see. I haven't played with it enough to judge performance properly, but it seems a little less performance-intensive now as well.

It still disables Surely's fov right click+drag controls though. Not sure what's going on there. I'll go back to Surely and see if s/he has any ideas.

This is the bug (amoebae) I have been referring to. As of right now, it's still there for me, at least. I would have reported on the original thread by it got shut down for some reason.

I have a bug that I think is related to your mod: water pipes disappear in underground view so is impossible to connect them. I'm not sure because sometimes when I load savegames water pipes are visible other times not.

Hey man, your mod seems to be deactivating the FXAA from nvidia panel. When I switch to undergound view your mod returns to 100% and all pipes and constructions have jaggies, if I disable your mod the FXAA starts working and no more jaggies in underground view.

It's still blurry for me
I noticed a bug with the preview image of save games. When I use DR at 100% everything is fine. Each time I save a game my savegame gets a new preview image. But when DR is active with ether less or more than 100%, and I save a game, then CS is unable to create a new preview image for that savegame - so it stays black. So then my savegame has no preview anymore. This happens to all savegames! Tried with 75%, 150% and 200%. Hope you can fix this. ;)
