It's difficult to tell why and how it crashed without the log. Do you have the log file by any chance? Or did the game start at all?

So I had no problem and was able to verify the ghost trap behavior was correct in my locally hosted test world. However when I try to load my dedicated server with the mod enabled on my client application the game crash/closes and the client side copy of the mod is automatically disabled by DST. I am able to load into the dedicated server w/ the client side mod disabled. I did reboot the dedicated server (rented from citadel servers) before trying this.

Here is the last part of the client side game log file before the crash. The server is running a subset of these mods (just the server side ones), and the sucessful, duel PC/Steam Account, Hosted, test I did just a few minutes ago was running all my mods:

I think it's a mod compatibility problem. A character mod or character-adjusting mod you installed was not compatible. It has something to do with its building/crafting perks. I have adjusted my mod so it won't crash, but that character or all characters won't be able to take ownership.

Your server is very heavily modded, so there is a good chance that something is not compatible.

So the crash persists. If it is a mod compatability issue I would likely just disable the other mod. 'Ownership' is still crashing/disabling (client side). I tried disabling a few 'supsect' other mods w/ the same result:

As a quick follow-up I would note that if this mod is disabled client side (still running on the dedicated server). The game loads up fine and ownership is working.

That container mod removes a standard component used in the original game, so it crashed. That component should not be removed.

hmm.. the only container mod I have enabled at this point is the DST Storm Cellar mod (prefab 'cellar'). I'll have more time to look later tonight but at quick glance I'm unable to figure out which is the offending mod. When I figure it out I'll report back here and let the other mod author know.

Since yesterday's update enbaling the mod on dedicated servers generates multiple Can't Find Table: errors in the log when trying to save. The game saves with no issues but the Can't Find Table errors get longer and longer after each save.

Poked around with it some more and those errors only seem to show up when it's set to Public. Still works perfectly either way!

I think I have figured out what's causing the "can't find table" problem. The mod has been updated.

Here are his words: I recently found the cause of this bug on my other mod's, I'll see about pushing out a fix once I got it. Though parts of the problem are other mod's that are being used aren't properly implementing Action's. The error that came up is from the mod "Ownership"

Inform the developer of that mod that they should update their mod to use AddComponentActions otherwise it will create conflict's with certain mod's and poison birchnut trees. I'm trying to figure out a workaround to prevent the conflict from happening, but I'm pretty sure even if I fix the conflict, those mod's are still going to crash client's who look at poison birchnut trees.

Hey, fellow mod developer here. I had someone say that our mods are incompatible (mine is "Deep-Freezer"); mine adds a new container, and it appears that ownership on it is lost on reloading. He said that you said that Deep-Freezer overrides the onBuild function, causing the incompatibility. I was hoping to get a clearer idea of what's wrong directly from you though, because I don't override builder.onBuild, and I see that you seem to have correctly accounted for preserving the old version of that function and calling it after. I don't want to duplicate effort that you've already done, so I was hoping if you could let me know what you think the incompatibility is coming from. Thanks!

Based on what he reported, I guess the freezer prefab does not save or load ownership information correctly. Which is very strange.
