Did you: unsub, physically go into the game files, delete the mod files, resub, wait for the download to complete, launch the game without mods and then with the mod?

Yeah, I've done everything I could think of, including what you suggested. Without mods game launches, no issues but, with CEVO (alone) it doesn't.

What did worked though, it didn't make any sense whatsoever, but I thought to myself, why not, might as well exhaust the options ... Graphics, since I wanted to play Homeworld either way, I maxed out the graphics, and since some settings don't take effect immediately, I restarted the game.
And then, in the launcher, thought that might as well try it, eh? It launched with CEVO that time. Interesting, apparently that'sa working fix for Access Violation error, for whatever reason.

Err, if I am interpreting what you are trying to say right, you turned the graphics settings up and now it works? Odd.

Yeah, tell me about it, I went through all that, re-downloading everything twice on a crappy wifi when all it took was changing Graphics Settings ...

I can only hope that whoever has the same issue might find this discussion, and if it works for them, amazing. And to clarify, I did max some settings, set the resolution to monitor's native, switched on the Vsync, maybe it was a texture loading issue?

Yeah a texture loading issue being caused by setting your graphics settings too low is the only possible explanation I can think of. The base textures and the models for the new ships complex adds are in some cases of a higher quality than vanilla after all...

Makes sense then I guess, for some reason by default settings were all on minimum, including resolution, and most features disabled altogether. I'm just glad it's all resolved, if this is an actual issue then, it should make it to the mod's description if you ask me, some ppl might encounter the same problem, and CEVO really adds depth and content to HMR.

Acces violation error at the ending of the mission 2.
I gathered exp and i made a shipyard, some destroyers and a battlecruiser i destroyed the capital ships and dock everything in the mothership (frigates,corvettes and fighters) and it i got past this error

change steam langage of the game to english fixed for me
