To answer the first part, you need Doc's color script (which is available on the workshop.) For the second part, what do you mean by "They are pretty hard to control" ?

Have you read the description, you would be using the rig script that is linked IN THE TOP OF IT.
Lynch 25 Feb, 2015 @ 8:05pm
how do you even use the rig? or even apply it to sfm?
Zaivex 26 Feb, 2015 @ 4:19am
i am a little new so i dont know how to install rigs :D
Loacher Films  [developer] 26 Feb, 2015 @ 6:29am
Copy the rig into platform/scrips/sfm/animset, then while in SFM, right click on the model->Rig->select the rig. If you want to see finger bones, expand the arms, then click the little arrow in front of them.(It should turn from dark-grey to white.)

hey but how to download rig if its just words for me :/
Loacher Films  [developer] 26 Feb, 2015 @ 7:29am
Right click->save as.
Lynch 26 Feb, 2015 @ 7:44pm
i cant find the rig in the files....
Kryllic 27 Feb, 2015 @ 6:10am
Ok, so click on the link to the Rig (that whole text that pops up is the actual rigging program). Copy the entire text (but leave out the "import vs" at the very top, and start where the # is), then open up a new Notepad++, paste everything, then Save As "Halo4_rig.py". IMPORTANT: MAKE SURE TO CHANGE THE "SAVE AS TYPE" UNDER WHERE YOU ENTER THE NAME AS "PYTHON FILE (*.PY,*.PYW)". Then save it to a location where you'll know how to access (preferably your desktop). Now, go to your steam folder, and go under steamapps>common>SourceFilmmaker>game>workshop>scripts>SFM>animset, and then paste your Halo4_rig.py there.

Then, when you open up SFM, and bring in the Halo 4 spartain guys, MAKE SURE YOU'RE IN MOTION/GRAPH EDITOR, right click on him in the Animation Set Editor, go down to Add Rig, then look for Halo4_rig. Done.

Even though Kryllic's version works too, when you right click and save the file, it should save as a .py file. If not, follow Kryllic.

Not an issue setting a color for the spartans, but for some reason the weapons appear OVERLY shiney, and appear to have white, ugly boxes on them. They disappear when I disable lighting, but I need lights. Also, I found 2-3 different skins for the weapons in the folders. How do I apply these?
Loacher Films  [developer] 28 Feb, 2015 @ 4:14am
Some use skins, some use bodygroups. They weren't made by me, so I dunno.
