a laser would be good but you should slow down the firing speed dramaticaly and make each shot on target disarm the enemy for 1 second

What about plasma balls instead of laser? The projectile could work like a Crusader's Crossbow's projectile and instead of healing allies, the plasma could burn enemies. Why not?

+5% uber-charge when you shoot in target
