Hey man, I have a very similar setup to you and I'm not able to pass 30-40 FPS on an empty Altis map on ultra. Would you mind sharing your settings or any tricks you had getting that performance on that processor and GPU?

Hmm, that made no difference to YAAB :(

whats your ram speed ? arma liek fast ram with low timings i know ddr4 3600 xmp not tuned vs say 4133 - 4300 mhz ddr4 tuned tight is like 20-40 fps

In arma 3 launcher, go to parameters tab and make sure you have your cores enabled... it defaults to 1

arma3 is super greedy on memory. thats almost definitely what it is

no it's the CPU and everything that helps it go faster. aka memeory

Got 21.9FPS with mostly high settings, terrain set to ultra high and object set to very high. @1440p

5600H + 3060 mobile GPU (yes it's a laptop lmao) got about 21.9FPS results after enabling large pages, enabled lock pages in local group policies and added the mimalloc-lock-pages allocator from the github fork.

As YAAB is CPU focused it's all about the mimalloc really what boosted my FPS, in the benchmark it rarely dropped below 20 which was really nice, as the other benchmarks I did without it often dropped to 15FPS and somehow averaged 20 in the end.

Dunno how people are getting 100fps+, bet they're using a datacenter as their CPU lmaoo. Unless something's wrong with my setup and it's just eating the single core perf making it look trash.

I take my joke back, seen some youtube vids and holy smokes my laptop is a craptop, dunno what's going on, left my mods on by accident but even without mods it's 30FPS.

Laptop is ♥♥♥♥ for the game. as mentioed before you need a very strong CPU and the best ram you can get for it

I booted up my PC which has a 3900X and a 1080ti, fresh windows install, only 29FPS unmodded, so...dunno what's going on there, I used the standard settings from the benchmark too

1080ti is still good the cpu is kinda meh could of said it nicer lol
