I didn't really build many defenses at all as I was just seeing what it was about first.
I really like the concept. I'm thinking of creating a mission with some robotic miners I found on the workshop where your goal is to protect the miners as they go about doing there business and delivering supplies. Combined with your mod I think it would make an interesting "mission".
I'm extremely new to SE so how would I go about doing something like that with your mod. If I get a proof of concept going then I'll ask both you and the author of the mining drones for permission to use them in such a mission.
I'm a developer IRL so I'm might be interested in helping you guys with the mod too if you are still looking for help. Although my time is extremely limited right now but that could always change down the road.
I'm unfamileur with the mod about the mining drones. I havn't seen the mod and I don't know the author although its a interesting concept. Mods are free to use from the workshop so if the mining drone mod and sector 15 are able to load togheter in the same map there is nothing preventing you from playing in there.
As for development: We are always looking for new programmers who know what they are doing. Right now I'm the only programmer working actively on this mod and that honestly is quite a bit of work so any help is welcome. If your interested in joining up then please consider that you should know a bit about C# (as the whole mod is written in that langauge) and that it relies heavy on LINQ. I'll send you a friend request so we can have a chat if you are still interested in joining up.
Anyway, when we are online one day we can discuss. I don't know what sort of time I'll have if any to help out much but will to just see if getting something like I'm thinking is doable.
