Hey Steam, I've just started using the workshop, made a couple skins, and then started browsing and realized how "outgunned" I am in design knowledge, particularly on items like this.

While I doubt I will ever reach this level of competence, does anyone know how these are rendered? Is this done in 3DS or maya? It seems to be beyond the tools of PS, but correct me if I'm wrong. Any advice appreciated (or direction to a guide!). Thanks!
