Pro:
The map looks pretty genuine like what you would see in the Five Nights at Freddy's game; if that game had a free roam feature and tons of zombies.
Easter eggs and secrets are present in the map. Good or bad it does show that the modder is putting effort to make the maps not only just a survive the nights mode but allows us the player to search high and low for the stuffed bears to do something....I never completed all the secrets so dont entirely know what they do.
Pretty much each night unlockes a new area in the map. Each night expands upon the map giving us new areas to look at and newer secrets to find.
Spooky with the lights out.
There is a door and light system just like in Five Nights at Freddy's; these mechanics feel well done and unique to any l4d2 map. They also consume power in the map which needs to be reset between nights.
con:
Moon jump. I dont know if this is a bug or is it intentionally put in the map but i feel it isnt necessary to a degree since you can avoid chargers by just jumping over them.
Players are able to moon jump on top of the jukebox causing the player to be about 95% invincible to all enemys. Chargers can still get you and spitters have a rare chance of hitting you but you are for the most part immune to being jockied or hunted.
Vague secrets. Some of the secrets that are in the game are very vague like the game telling you that golden freddy needs cola or find the stuffed animal chika food.1 i could never find golden freddy for some reason and 2 where is the food that chika is looking for because i couldnt find that as well. If golden freddy is behind the door that is in the kitchen then ok but i was never allowed to open it if that is the case.
For solo playing the map is way too hectic. You get swarmed by way too many enemies in such a compact room. The moment you start the day like 30+ enemies instantly spawn in and are immediantly rushing down both hallways before you can say oh... It is a tad too much for playing solo but it is pretty fair playing with other human players.
For solo playing survival is tough because of the lack of medical supplies to support long term. Maybe if medkits resupplied every other round that would be nice because the bots would use their medkits too often causing most of the supplies being wasted before they are actually needed. This isnt an issue if you have other human players.
Infinite ammo. It kinda maks the ammo supplie pointless. This may be a bug or maybe it is not i do not know personally. You can easily survive well with the lmg you get like at the end of night 4.
Refill the generator to regain power. This isnt bad of a concept but in the long term once you run out of gas canasters then that means you have no more power to use. Also a funny thing you can use cola to refill the generator as well but i think the refilling of the generator needs to be edited a little allowing no running out of power entirely due to no more objects to fill up the generator with.
Conclusion:
This map is pretty good. I unfortunantly played this modders fnaf2 map before doing this map where you see the same mechanics done really well. On the positive end of this is he is making a v3 of the map so we might see some really interesting changes like i know jump scares was mentioned to be in v3. To sum this up this map is certainly good and more people should play it. Yes it has a few weird mechanics like moon jump and infinite ammo but this was probably a map made early in his modding career so we do not expect perfection and from trying his future maps you see how his mechanics grow and evolve to work better for the game.
