Troubleshooting exception access violation 0x00000030 [Evultis]
Hey @Evultis, hoping this discussion post will work well to share more on this issue you are running into.

To recap my understanding of the issue, your CE server crashes when day transitions to night with the Access Violation 0x00000030 exception, presumably when an encounter may be initiating. You consistently experience the same regardless of whether or not the Night Terrors is at the start or end of your mod load order. You started to experience the issue only once adding this mod to your server and before it worked fine.

Server settings for Day/Night:
Day/night settings are currently:
Cycle Speed: 0.5
Day Time Speed: 0.2
Night Time Speed: 2.0
Dawn/Dusk Speed :0.2

Sent you the list. Your summary of the issue is accurate. I have set the day/night cycle settings to default values and the crash still occured.

Could it be an incompatibility with Ghosts of the Cataclysm? Ragnar disabled the werehyena ambushers on the map if I recall, does that use the same system as here?

Yes, quite possible. It does use the same system and I'm testing a fix for an issue where it was resetting the werehyena ambush timer when the demons would spawn (doh!). So this might help your issue as well, if this incompatibility exists. Even using the same system, the demon ambush timer etc. should be isolated so that the ambushes do not interfere with one another.

No obvious mod conflicts. If I run the same exact mod list I can see the Night Terrors encounters spawn, etc. Assumption is you are seeing this on the Ghosts of the Cataclysm map? Looks like a level increase mod also was there. What character level are you?

Currently level 135. My server crashed earlier this morning with a 0x00000030 from something else, so I'm investigating that too. Might be my server's just borked

Gotcha. I was gonna say 135 would not be an issue. In any case, I'm still tuning the fix to support werehyena ambushes simultaneously as well.

Yeah, thanks either way. It seemed to be a one off issue with that earlier crash today, my server has been stable since then. I'll see if there's anything else I can do to fix things up on my end

Hi Evultis, in case you have a chance to dive back in some time, please let me know if you still see any issue with the latest version (v1.0.1). While I could not reproduce a crash, I can see that the changes may improve stability in some scenarios.
