Suggestions and Feedback.
Please give any suggestions for future items/gadgets or balancing feedback here.

Current plans (subject to change):

- Give the EMP cannon a linear targeting path along with its final burst destination.
- A rechargeable electricity grenade.
- A scouting drone.
-Making the Kingmaker compatible with heavy weapons.
- A modification that will allow for use of blood in place of electricity (drawing from user's health if jacked)
- A brain computer which will give permanent intelligence and compute power, but is offset by a toughness penalty and stun resistance reduction.
- A separate version of the dematerializer which might be able to demat/remat structures like in The Finals (the original item was made with the effect, not The Finals reference in mind).

Is it intentional that sultanized items can still be affected by kingmakers? This can result in, for example, crysteel weapons having a chance to both transmute to gemstone on hit and dismember on hit. Actual relics can also be affected by kingmakers.

Yes, it is intended that kingmaker applications can stack. Though open to feedback if it feels too OP in practice.

This can result in huge amounts of stat boosts on a single item, like +30 Strength which can then be polygelled to get over +100 of a stat, for example on the Fist of the Ape God which has the "might" element being weighted the most giving more Strength boosts from kingmakers. Although any upgraded stat boosts don't register until a non-stat boost bestowal (like a mutation) is granted.

That's true, but someone would have to be willing and survive hunting many chrome pyramids for that.
While chrome pyramids are still powerful, you can still one-shot them with a transmute to gemstone weapon, which has a good chance to be obtained from sultanizing a jewel-encrusted weapon. Even getting one kingmaker is enough; you can polygel them and bestowals can be rerolled with Precognition.

I didn't realize transmuted enemies still drop their inventory. But while you can polygel them, it's similar to polygelling eater nectors for infinite stats. You can do it, but it's a tedious slog. But yes, it might be worth making it once per item, it wouldn't be a difficult change.
As not all bestowals are created equal - transmute to gemstone or dismember is superior to a small strength boost on a dagger for example, or blink away when you're about to take damage may even be detrimental - it's up to you what to do. Cybernetic bestowals are similar to missile bestowals - either stat boosts (which don't work on cybernetics that already affect stats) or mutations.

Also, as I mentioned in a previous comment stacking stat boosts on a single item doesn't seem to work until another part that isn't a stat boost is added to it, effectively "wasting" the kingmaker until that part is applied.

When I was testing kingmakers on a zetachrome battle axe, the first two kingmakers gave +4 Strength and Light Manipulation. I kept using kingmakers on it to seemingly no effect and then one gave it the transmute to gemstone power. Suddenly the axe has +29 Strength and +6 Ego. It appears that the stat boosts refresh only when a mod is applied - all non-stat bestowals are mods.

Did you have the item equipped you were using the kingmaker on? I noticed you need to take it off and reequip it before the bonuses will function after being sultanized.

Oop, didn't see this discussion before posting on the main page. I'll repost my ideas here:

Wild idea I have in mind is a head implant that release an AoE temporary beguiling effect on all organic creatures in range with the duration and range of the effect scaling up with compute power. Or an artifact that stores the charge of energy cells or the player if the artifact is jacked, functioning like a reusable throwing weapon similar to a geomagnetic disc. When thrown it'll release all the charge stored inside at the point of impact basically being a rechargeable electricity grenade that shoots balls of lightning.

The beguilling idea sounds a bit too strong considering how easily you could fleece vendors, but I have been considering something like the items from streets of rogue (forgot the exact names, think one was the hateorizer?) where it’s a single use item that will temporarily make an npc friendly to you, hostile to everything, or ignore you temporarily depending on the type used.

I really like the idea of the charge grenade though or something similar, it’d work well with the bioreactor I made for a separate mod too.

How about some kind of powered armor? Something that runs on cells to give you buffs like the exoskeleton but taking up the body slot rather than the back. Also kinda disappointed that the Eaters were a spacefaring civilization but there isn't any armor or suits that look spaceworthy. So perhaps the armor should be a pretty rare artifact. Tier 7-8 or maybe worn by Saad Amus or his clones.

Could do something like that. Maybe an ancient astronaut-esque suit that takes up the body and helmet where once you put it on you're locked in or something.
