I'm not really convinced of the "new" version and keep a local copy.
It would be easy to achieve by using a load folder with the mod ID.

You can remove the comments from around the Expanded Woodworking part of the LoadFolders.xml and it should work fine for the old version. But you will have to do that any time this mod updates or re-downloads for any reason.
The merge categories feature is experimental but do you have a rough estimate how long I should wait before leaving it alone? I tried with Nuts&Seeds and that went well but everything else... I waited ~8min for rimwold to start with nuts + grain merge before I closed it via Steam and removed the corresponding line in the mod option xml.
Stuffed floors also throws an error if the wood option isn't toggled. I don't think this is a great issue but some people might get antsy about it.
Aside from this, everything works fine for me so far.
And which wood option are you talking about in regards to Stuffed Floors?
The planks are already able to be made at the MO trestle/sawmill. Let me know if that isn't working for you.
