Just a small idea
Hey! I wanted to request a couple of things that I think should be implemented-
I think social skill should have a large impact on the outcome,
i think certain raid strategies should be harder to detect, for example a drop pod raid would be a lot easier to see coming then a sapper raid, and
I think there should be a new raid type that is harder to see coming

Most of this is just balancing so I don't expect you to implement it

you're right, currently they all have a simple same basic chance to be uncovered. And as closer they get, the higher the chance is.
No more skills involved.

I want however to evolve this mod (even add at some point the ability to strike the incoming raids). So, if you are up to these kind of changes, let's think about them.

I need to fix couple things IRL and then I will write :)
Good luck! Oh, and also- I have a couple throw-out ideas that wouldn't be a big deal to me if they got denied, and they probably will, but that I think might be cool-
-An Archotech drone array that makes it so that data is discovered faster (such as intention and faction) or mitigates a part of the effectiveness of stealth raids (This might be unbalanced so it would either have to be less powerful or locked behind a quest or rare trade)
-Different terrain types being harder to locate raids or caravans in (This would probably take a while to add though and be prone to issues during testing phaes)
-V.O.I.D. raids being harder to spot and harder to convince to leave, and N4 manhunter packs having a unique dialogue similar to mechanoid raids
