A better explanation:

First go to the deadzone, specifically rocky coalworks. You will need a detonator, and a mining charge (you can find these behind specific padlocked things, I can go into more depth if you want). In the coal works there should be a trail leading to a small mining site, in that site there is adamantite nodes. Place a mining charge on the node, hook it up to the detonator and boom. Adamantite
