Dear Creator (A message to Astute)
This weapon? This whole project? It's a problem child. Perhaps the biggest creation that you had the most problems with on Steam Workshop.

You have tried & tried, to no avail, failing to animate it properly except for in SFM, which has resulted with you cowering, your tail between your legs, leaving this project to die.

The 'Heavy Caliber' has made you its bitch practially.

But that can change.


Pull up your big-boy pants, crack them knuckles, and work on this potential masterpiece once again. Update the model. Update the animations. Update the textures. Make this baby sing out to the heavens.

Look the kickback of every large weapon in the game. do you think this massive revolver wouldnt have a large kickback? Hell yes it would!

Look at the massive detail difference between the spies revolver and this giant beauty. Is it good? Sure. Is it good enough? Maybe. But lets see if you can make it better!




Ive hoped this boosted your confidence into tackling this project. Im also hoping to see an update soon.

This was not what I was expecting. You do have a point, this model is a bit of a handful, mostly because I lack any decent means to test or implement it. The core problem is the shotgun itself, not so much the revolver. The fact it shares itself across 4 classes makes it tricky. Thinking about it, maybe I should have skinned the Family Business instead.

Sure, I'll give the revolver another shot, it's been about 2 years now? A lot has changed since then. This revolver was made when I was just settling back into workshopping. I might be able to make it more usable now than it ever was before.

Once I get a hold on my current real life issues(health/pain issues and computer hardware failure atm), I'll be back to making stuff full force, hopefully before the end of the year. Consider this added to the todo list for a third pass.

That was just beautiful, no rage, no disrespect, this guy is really a good motivator. As a promotional strategy for this weapon, how about you let Karma Charger do a video demonstration?

That way, more people will notice this masterpiece. Also if i get into SFM, i'll definitely do an animation with this revolver
