What *should* happen is that you then get teleported to the ending scene and see some text about the good ending you achieved. I suspect what happened is that you weren't too close to the helipad when the chopper arrived and the teleporter fired but missed you, hence you saw the fade to white but weren't actually brought to the ending area.
From memory, the teleport trigger is actually quite small for the chopper extract and only covers the helipad itself, so if you were standing off to the side you may have missed it. There's no good reason it should be like that so I will look at making the trigger larger.
I'm a little confused about the rest of what you describe though. You shouldn't have been able to get to the snowcat, because that area is only accessible if the chopper crashes and the hangar is blown open. Likewise, you shouldn't have been able to reach the underground area without first having entered the hangar. I assume you had to noclip into the hangar and this is what you meant by "having to cheat"?
If you wanted to try again to get the chopper ending, just make sure you are standing directly on the helipad itself when the chopper approaches.
I confused Librarian's ending for my own, but I, indeed, have sealed the underground, I should have gotten previous said ending.
What I mean by "having to cheat" is that I tried to do the Snowcat ending, so I went around noclipping, but then I noticed that while randomly noclipping, apparently a gate opens which leads me to the lift that has the way to the looping room.
So yes, I probably did randomly noclip into the hangar.
Anyway, it was a great map, it's sad my first experience had to be a nasty glitch that I could have avoided, but oh well, like Jeremy Clarkson says, it could have been worse...
Say, do you plan on making similar map(s)? Would be great to play those.
I've did the other endings as well, it's funny how the Baby Doll could be your ally or your enemy, hah! All those Draugr powers came from the Baby doll after all.
Thanks! i was meaning to ask about that same problem, glad you explained it :)
