Experienced a bug where TSF units do not reinforce their strength --regardless of what equipment I build, the TSF sits in stockpile and the units never reinforce.

This is also true for event-granted TSF. For instance in the Japan tree, there's a focus which grants you some ~320 TSFs from the UN. Not only did these not enter the stockpile whatsoever, but they didn't reinforce into existing units either.
Expanding on the above.

As Japan, you start off with a ~3 imperial guard units (1 regiment and 2 battalions) as well as ~10 TSF divisions.
In the "Equipment Cost" column in the Division Designer, it shows that the imperial guards are missing:
-"irg_tsf_chassis".

As for the TSF divisions, they are missing:
-"Tactical Surface Fighter"

Again, regardless of what I build in Production, it never reinforces these two.

The event tsf makes sense atm I believe I haven't changed the SRD tech which is where these come from today I will look into fixing this as well as redoing the OOBs and History files as I did them very quickly initially. For your other problem I will look into why this is happening.

Also one more question were you using the English patch as well? I have not completely integrated the patch into this mod but with how I needed to change some of the stuff, running it with the patch is not advised as it might cause problems via overwriting the history files. That was my bad for not noting in the description. I will do so when I have the time.

Good day.

I had a look at the mod playset in the HOI4 launcher. While the English patch is in the playset, I had it disabled for the duration of playtime, so the issue lies elsewhere.

No worries, take your time. If you have any more questions, let me know.

So I have checked and I believe I have fixed the issue with the TSA and ASA divisions. I checked with the regular TSF divisions and I do not know know what was causing that issue or the IRG regiments having issues. My friends who also checked did not seem to have issues with those. Try to redownload the mod and see if there has been any changes. I have fixed some of the spawned units a thousand there are a few I believe that are not fixed yet but they will be once so can work on it again.
Redownloaded both the mod and game, same issues on Japan.
Switched to EU and it seems like more of the same:

-Upon loading in without unpausing, the production queue starts off with 5 factories on the A-10 Thunderbolt II, which presents the "No Template" notification by default.

-Same issues on EU as with Japan, with regards to default mecha units such as Marines requiring "tsa_chassis", ASA units requiring "asa_chassis", and TSF units requiring "Tactical Surface Fighter" --none of the above units spawn reinforced with any of these pieces of equipment.

-Strangely, building TSF units such as the F-15 or JAS-39 show up in the Logistics tab as "TSF", however, there is also a row that shows a deficit of -200 "Tactical Surface Fighter". No matter what I add to the Production queue, this deficit never fills.

-Same issue with ASAs and TSAs --when I produce the A-6, which is an ASA, it shows up under "ASA" in the Logistics tab, however there's also a row showing a deficit of -120 "asa_chassis".

-Same issue for TSA, which I can produce as the A-10 and it fills up the "TSA" tab, but the -40 deficit of "tsa_chassis" never fills.

Does your friend who tested it run any DLCs as well? What version is he running on? I tried both default (which I believe is 1.16.9) and 1.16.8.

my friend has managed to replicate your issue it is an issue of not having the DLC that implement designers. for armor which the TSFs are under it should be No Step Back. I apologize I should note that in the future. So the vanilla JP mod does have a tree designed for those who do not have the right DLC. I will implement one for that in the future although for now I am still working on fixing bugs and initial balancing. By any chance can you tell me what DLC you have?

(Not all of them are needed as I believe that No Step Back is the DLC you need to have this work.)
I have:
No Step Back
Man the Guns
La Resistance
By Blood Alone
Arms Against Tyranny
Good day.

Glad to hear you two were able to identify the hiccup.
Just checked, and funnily enough it seems I don't own a single HOI4 DLC, lmfao. Guess I'll be adding No Step Back to cart.
Although if by "designers" you're referring to the 'Military Industrial Organizations' in Production queue, I believe those were added in Arms Against Tyranny. Might be worth loading up the game with certain DLCs disabled to see what breaks.

Appreciate all the work you're putting into this mod. Have a good one.

I mean equipment designers I apologize, I will be adding Military Industrial Organizations in the future. I will also add a non dlc tech tree in the future. I had completely forgotten about that so I thank you for notifying me of this. I appreciate the help with finding issues even if unintentionally at first.

All good lol, I'm not too familiar with all the lingo and conflated the two.
