AO Fix for the Soldier Beard?
It should be pretty simple to fix it, just gotta put some code in the vmt and you're all set.

Copy and paste this into the VMT:

"$AmbientOcclusion" "0"

It disables AO on the model, which I'm sure most cosmetics in SFM don't use. Make sure the quotation marks are also there.

I did quite the opposite before I read this, turns out $translucent was set to 1. I changed it and it seemed to have worked, meaning the beard actually has AO. The only question is whether I should release this in its own addon with other translucent items or just update this...

I'd recommend doing this with other items that need the fix such as the Dark Helm and the Bolt Boy.

Hm... Maybe that will be my next big project... I just need a list of broken AO cosmetics, since looking at every one myself is WAY too time consuming.

Maybe you could also fix some other things such as items glowing white instead of their normal color:
The War Goggles
The Special Eyes
The Hard-Headed Hardware
The Triclops
The Double Cross-Com

what was that hazmat suit for medic, you know, like the one with the glass, i tried doing a remake poster of LFD2 on it but it didnt have the right AO, god, its on the tip of my tongue, well anyways that hat needs to be fixed!
