I play vanilla only with your mod. It crashes during docks loadscreen after game message about loading area. No error, it just exit to desktop. I'm sorry, but i'm not sure what else I can tell you :/

maybe this is a crash that doesn't concern my mod, as people mention this crash on steamcommunity without anything mods.

I can recommend a solution that might help.

unflag read-only Documents\Neverwinter Nights 2\nwn2.ini if you set flagged/or just deleted this file. Then run game and set all settings to minimum. Then restart game and try load save and finished quest line.

For my part, just unsubscribing from this mod solved my problem.
Maybe it's to do with the size of the texture to be loaded on this zone.

To be more precise, I'd been using this mod since it came out and I'd done a good chunk of Act 2. I had my savegame in neverwinter's docks. It was after the last update of the mod (0.0.3) that I could no longer load my save, it crashed at the end of loading the zone.

Ok, your suggestion was very helpful. So, when I turned off graphic options it did trick for me. I have done some more testing, and it seems that shadow option in conjunction with your mod crashed the game. When it's set to off or low it's fine. Everything above ends with crash. Without your mod I can set shadows to highest option and it works.

It seems like that. Also I just tried to set NumberOfTextureMipLevelsToSkip to -9 and it crashed again in the same way. At 0 it's okay. So both shadows and this option with mod are nonbo for me xD

u can try NumberOfTextureMipLevelsToSkip set to other number (-1,-2,-3 and another)
I have additional information. We may be dealing with two bugs (or a bug that manifests itself in two ways). When the game transitions between some other area (e.g., Highcliff and Sunken Flagon) and the docks, the above occurs. However, if I try to load the game directly from the docks, the game crashes regardless of the shadow settings. I've determined that NumberOfTextureMipLevelsToSkip must be set to 1, and then it works perfectly, with shadows being irrelevant in both cases. In yesterday's tests, miplevels were always set to 0, and it was changing the shadow settings that made the difference every time. Now I'm not so sure... Maybe texture quality setting is critical, and shadows played an enabling role in that particular scenario.

Not sure if its fixed, but i don't seem be having issues loading into neverwinter , it could be lacking VRAM maybe people need list there GPU's, i'm using 4090 so, question though, you plan to make some high quality skyboxs? some of skyboxes in skyrim really make a huge difference.

yea 0.0.3 have serious changes and hq skyboxes included. I planning improve the performance new update and lighten some textures. I hope it helps. on my 3060 witch 12 gb vram it works well on act1
I have laptop version of rtx 4060 with 8GB vram.

strange, i have no crash on my system when loading docks
I think I know what happened. When I first installed the game, I was testing some reshade presets and then deleted them. From what I can see, there were a few files left in the game folder after uninstalling reshade. I deleted them and everything works. Sorry for the confusion, I was sure I had deleted everything earlier ^^'
