Unit Description
Veteran soldiers

Soldiers of mankind who experienced a lot of combats. Many of them are retired veterans of The Empire or local militia who seek change of life. Not like regular army of The Empire, they are well equipped and trained hard.

1) Freesworder

A band of former soldiers who left the regular army to pursue personal wealth on the battlefield. Much like a typical imperial swordsman, but equipped with finer armor and honed swordsmanship earned through years of service.

2) Reislaufer

A mercenary hailing from the mountains, hardened by brutal labor and constant threats from beasts and invaders. Possessing remarkable strength and bravery for a human, he shows unwavering loyalty to any employer who pays well—driven by the desire to secure a prosperous life for his family back home. Renowned for their skill with the halberd, these warriors have earned a formidable reputation among those who hire mercenaries.

3) Doppelsoldener

Those who command double the hiring fee are known as veterans among veterans. Equally skilled with greatswords and rifles, they excel at breaking through hardened spear walls on the frontlines or picking off vanguards and scouts from afar.

Freedom Fighters

These mercenaries are wandering fighters from southern coast or Bretonnian forests. They wander from place to place, bound to no single faction, living a free life. Sometimes driven by duty, other times by the thrill of adventure itself, they walk the path of the mercenary.

1) Shipboard Guard Crew

Laborers who mainly serve as sailors or ship guards along the coast. Many of them are northern barbarians who headed south in search of warmth and settled into civilized life. As seasoned seafarers, they are known for their grit and perseverance.

2) White Company

A mercenary company composed of a variety of individuals from Bretonnia, including knights, peasants, and squires aspiring to become knights. They primarily act with the purpose of upholding chivalry to protect the safety of townsfolk and peasants. Though most are not born knights, they believe that by faithfully practicing chivalry, they can bring stability to the world as they travel from place to place. When the distant sound of a charging battle cry arrives along with a rain of arrows, the wicked lords cannot shake off their unease.

3) Condottieri

Veteran knights gathered to form a mercenary order. They seek glory and wealth on the battlefield, preferring to roam across many warzones rather than settle in one place. Wielding pole-hammers similar to halberds, their ferocity in crushing all enemies they encounter is said to rival that of the Bretonnian knights.

Defenders of Myrmidens

The city guard of Myrmidens and self-proclaimed holy warriors of Myrmidia, following the guidance of the goddess Myrmidia. They adhere to Myrmidia’s teachings of winning wars through tactics and wisdom, while also believing in her revelations and divine guidance.

1)Myrmidens Pikemen

The city militia defending Myrmidens. Normally dedicated to their daily livelihoods as civilians, they are nevertheless skilled in handling long pikes through regular training.

2)Myrmidens Stradioti

A mobile strike unit of Myrmidens, favoring agile mobility and fast, large-scale cavalry strikes over heavily armored cavalry. They wield “Myrmidens’ Fire,” a magical gunpowder weapon.

3)Myrmidens Companion Patrol

The elite Companion Patrol knights, known for carrying out the revelations of the goddess Myrmidia, are said to patrol outside the city to detect early signs of attack or deliver preemptive strikes to weaken the enemy’s momentum. It is said that when they appear on the battlefield, they fulfill the goddess’s decree and lead the battle to victory.

4)Myrmidens Hoplites

The elite standing army that defends the city of Myrmidens. Rumor has it that each of these warriors possesses combat prowess comparable to inhuman beasts or twisted monstrosities empowered by magic. According to legend, in a war long past, merely a few hundred Hoplites held off a greenskin horde tens of thousands strong for half a day, turning the tide of battle.
