I think this should have a robotic face that impersonates the merc's faces, for example when the heavy is shooting and having a grin on his face, the robotic face on the machine should grin as well.

Also, just wanted to point out that there's a Pictro logo on the bottom. This is from Expiration Date, where the spy is watching the scout ask Miss Pauling out via Pictro camera.

No need to point it out. PICTRO is the in lore company that makes the surveillance cameras found all over the game. Expiration Date is not the first time that company is shown.

Yeah. I've seen some of them cameras around Kong King, and Sawmill.

It's pretty cool, the only thing I think that should be worked on is it's movement.
Like when starting to walk/run, it instantly has the same speed as you have. (most likely because it probably is linked to the head of the player model)
It would be great if it had some acceleration motion so like when a player starts running it would slowly accelerate and catch up with the player.
Same thing with a player rotating, it should have some delay instead of instantly being on the other side.
That way it probably would look more like it would actually be it's own entity.
Tho i'm not so sure if that's possible to achieve while keeping it a player "wearable".

Since the drone is sent by the Administrator according to the discription, you should make the drone flip out when people are doing partner taunts as the lady wants the mercs to be killing eachother.

Any more flight lagg than what it has may cause the item to clip through the player and even the terrain.

Let the lights on the camera blink depending on the team color :D

That would be interesting! but forn now they are indicator lights that glow in the dark!
Red=Recording Green=Its powered on White=Flash light/Camera Flash for still pictures.

it will destruckt when you dei or you can freelei moove around if you dei wifh this thing as your texture
