Is not OP even with more prost than cons, because there are few minor pros but a major disadvantage. The Grenade launcher is much useful than you think.

All the attacks received from behind inflict just the 40% of their real damage
It use the secondary slot
Shield has an health bar that drain as attacks are received from behind, it can be recharged by picking ammo
If a spy backstab you the shield will broke and you'll need a resupply closet to restore it
+Dank

+For each Dank level raise, you move 5% faster, deal 5% more damage and resist 10% more damage from all sources. Stacks up to 5 times.
-Dank is lost on a miss
-10% less resistance to all sources upon spawning
