Its not just so easy to allow you to set spawn distance. There is a fair amount of vector math involved to find correct spawn positions. If you could just change the distance willy nilly it complicates things. Another concern is if you set the range at say 150m... how many doors will be within that 150m range? A bunch thats for sure.
I will keep your suggestion in mind and who knows what might pop out.
In meantime you might check out my AI War Zones mod. That in conjunction with Knock Knock AI creates a very dangerous city.
