Can't crouch fire?

I'm trying to crouch fire but after I crouch it stands me up everytime I left click to aim or reload. Am I missing something, or is there a setting I have to change?

Try using the X key. Typically it changes you're stance with "spear brace" and "throwable" Polearms.
