How to make a clan
Hi!
So i'm a beginner with this mod. I'm currently running around the map trying to make profits with 32 soldiers cap. Really want a castle to rule and conquer. I'm trying to make lords hire me but they don't want to because I'm clanless... What to do?

Grind up your Clan level (Renown). You need to be Clan Level 1 to be hired as a Mercenary and Clan Level 2 to be hired as a Vassal.
Also running around with a small group of Cavalry (35-40ish) is definitely the best way to start out and grind renown, xp and money. It's large enough to take any quest from NPCs and small/fast enough to catch any fleeing bandit party.

Thank you for the answer :) The thing that started to bother me is that it seems there are no cool quests available for me without clan... The quests from merchants and artisans seem repetitive even if I go far from my initial starting location. That's a bummer.
also, would it be a bad idea to assault some castle when I get 40 people??

Ermm you are the leader of your own clan. You mean not having a "faction"... and no there are no cool faction quests either. Joining a faction does not offer you "cool quests".

LOL... a castle has 300-600 soldiers defending it. Think about that for a moment.
