the 3 gnome requirement to remove the damn ball is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, do you know how pain in ass and testical is it to carry 3 gnome from start to finish in single, carefully place the gnome to fighting horde, sticking an eyes for the bot to not lose the gnome for what ever unknown reason, manually order them to carry gnome repeatily and when the bot are carry gnome they are heavily vulnerable and will drop gnome in an inapproprate postion that will simply lose the gnome and sometime the bot lose the gnome to god know where to moment you take your eyes out of them, there was one time in chapter after painfully fighting the horde SI while not losing any of the damn gnome, i was so close at the at the end, i have the bots to carry all 3 gnome i go ahead first clearing out infected and when i look back at the bots, 2 were still carrying but the third not carrying and when i go back to look for it i couldnt find it, i look carefully and still couldnt find it and the that part of the map dont have any kind of bad place that will lose the gnome permanently, like the gnome just suddenly dissapear like what the ♥♥♥♥, and the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ part for me is that i cant just restart the chapter and recollect all 3, cause if i restart just once just once time the game will crash so i have the redo the whole campaign from start to finish again and again.
In the official campaign dark carnival player dont carry the gnome from start to finish you start carrying in somewhere mid campaign and it was manageable cause you only need to keep an eyes out for 1 gnome to get the achivment
Another example is Daybreak, a custom that also have you carry a gnome from start to finish but you are well reward for doing, in every chapter have a door that you can unlock for carrying the gnome, each give you better weapon, medkit and other supply and some additional boost and challenge. And you only need to carry 1, not only that you dont have to mandatory carry all the way to the end, you just carry it for a bit to get early tier2 weapon with laser in chapter 1 and not needing to carry anymore
Prodeus requiem you carry 3 gnome from start to finish with no additional reward for consistently carry all just for what
1 you c get a train sweep that are ineffective at clear horde, SI and tank
2 you get extra health kit, m60 and grenade lanucher which its alright
3 the steel ball is gone
I dont mind the steel ball as a challenge cause they are easily avoidable but the problem is that bot dont dodge it them self, so some time bot will incap while dealing with horde, and i am the type of player that will try to get all the bot to extract successfully
