I experienced a crash in here where after meeting Pebbles in his room the game just.. completely dies. The rooms freeze, all animals disappear and the screen palette changes strangely.. Not sure what to do about this but it did mess up exploring silent for me.

It only occurred after I attempted to leave his room via either pipe.

That's strange... Does it happen every time? Also do you have either a lot of mods or mods that effect Silent Construct's version of Pebbles?

I've seen the game do that in other mods very rarely at random, I'm not sure what that means if anything... I'll try replicating the issue later.

I do not have anything that affects Silent Construct apart from a threat theme mod I made myself, so I'm really unsure..

Actually, in fact it does! Is this something on my end, then?

could be, red pallet tends to mean the game failed to load/render the next room. from what little I understand, that could be a room issue or a memory issue or some other thing. If those connecting rooms both load fine before you talk to 5P, then it's likely not an issue with the rooms themselves or 5P. (all of the altered 5P code runs in his room)

If other mods do this as well then I would say it's on your end, if not, then something very weird and interesting is going on.

Related Discovery: The extra faded pallets that RegionKit enables tend to make rooms very unstable if you have a lot of mods active. I may have to work around that. Although none of the rooms near 5P use that.

I had a similar issue to soft, except instead of turning red it freezes on the middle of the screen (slug not visible) and it snows super super heavily. Both pipes have this issue. The bottom pipe lets me back into 5P room fine and it acts normal in his room but when I leave through the top pipe the whole thing breaks and all I can do is hit menu.

I have a vague memory of something similar happening while playing saint normally so this might be on my end but I figured I'd report it anyway just in case! :rwslugcat:
