The fix for getting extra Zones and the ability to purchase different Zone specialisations in middle of your Save file
The fix for getting extra Zones and the ability to purchase different Zone specialisations in middle of your Save file:

1- Take a backup of your existing save.

2- Make your mod order like this from Top to Bottom:

- Other Mods (Such as Gigastructural Engineering)
...
- UI Overhaul Dynamic
...
- Other Mods that must go below UI Overhaul Dynamic
(Such as 'A Lot of Traditions', UI Overhaul Dynamic compatchs with Gigastructural Engineering and A Lot of Traditions mods)
...
- Better Planet View
- BPV - More Building Slots
- BPV - More Building Slots - Compatibility
- one of BPV - Extra City Slot Opt-ins (optional, only if you're using it)
- one of BPV - Extra City Zone Opt-ins (optional)
- one of BPV - Extra Corporate Slots Opt-ins (optional)

3- Load your save with the mod order above.

4- Save your game and then exit Stellaris.

5- Download Author's auto save fixer tool in here:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1c7jhcrrz02NnYgvPGNe6KHyX2cp9u5rt/view

6- Run it and open your freshly saved save.
If it gives error, try running in Administrative Mode and if Microsoft Defender warns you about unauthorised file access, give access to the App and restart the App again.

7- The tool will edit save, fix errors and overwrite the save with new version in a few seconds.

8- Load your modified save in Stellaris again.

9- Now you will be able to see number of available Zones.
But, you will encounter problems if you try to purchase more than 3 different zone specialisation in same zone.
To fix this permanently do this step:

9- While your save is open, load the same save again. Do NOT exit to Stellaris Menu.

This will fix remaining issues.

Essentially, if you reload a save while in that save, Stellaris forcefully rechecks and re configures the save, which fixes remaining issues.

(Such as refreshing Static Modifiers the UI uses and those mods change, which normally don't get refreshed with normal save load process)

Note: If some Zone's still aren't available to specialise, you need to built other builds first. As you build other Zones, those unavailable zone's become available.

As an alternative, you can also try to reload the interface in-game with following console command:

reload zz_planet_view.gui

Is this still works or a no go since the last UI update?

It works for me. Though, if it doesn't, put any other mods that modify districts, zones etc above the "BPV - More Building Slots - Compatibility" mod.
IDK why but this still does not work. UI for me is still borked beyond recognition.

Old saves sometimes create problems. Did you adjust your playlist mod order so that this "BPV - More Building Slots - Compatibility" mod is below any UI mods?

And did you use the exe file from above link on your save? And maybe even load same save again while it's already loaded?

If nothing works, try Irony Mod Launcher to detect mod conflicts, more specifically, to see which mods conflict with BPV mod...

An Irony patch might fix the issue. If it doesn't, you might need to remove that conflicting mod from your playlist to play with BPV mod.

Because of the number of mods for Stellaris, which is huge, mod creators can't support compatibility with every mod, neither they can solve every compatibility issue.

This is especially problematic for players with huge number of mods. In that case, detecting mod conflicts by using Irony Mod Launcher, and creating compatibility patches are the only remaining solution.

Though, if you manage to find the issue, such as a mod conflict, I suggest you to contact with BDP mod's creator and tell about the mod conflict.

I did also it might because Lag Fix. I am looking into it right now. And I did use the EXE provided.

Edit: didn't work. Either UI Overhaul is messing it up or 100 modlist doesnt want BPV to work.

It would take a lot of time, but with Irony Mod Manager, you can create your own compatible patch.

Just unsubscribe from Compatibility mod first. (2 mods trying to do same job with highest mod load order is bad.)

Nevermind. The newest Stellaris update broke the "Better Planet View" mod. That needs to be updating.
I tried to do this, but my antivirus kept saying that the file contained a virus
