This is quite easy and makes set up a breeze.

On the Surface, place a tank (NOTE: There is a special tank for cargo pipe items that is different from the regular pipes/tanks, make sure to use the correct one) beside the 'Personnel Elevator' .. I do it so the Cargo Pipe can go down right beside the open area where you hook up power to the elevator. I dig a 1x1 hole all the way to the bottom elevator stop.

At the Frist Elevator Stop in the Vein Mine, build a pipe to place the IN/Out device on, Select the input device. It will set on and connect to a pipe that come up from the Vein Mine lower levels. Put the pipe in from the top (on the first stop, this is from the tank on the surface).

Connect 3 'Input Loaders' to the IN/OUT device. You can repeat this step at every level where you have a stop and it chains together the input devices.

This brings up and stores all the ore at full capacity of the belts for each node, not limited to 2560 max per floor like a freight elevator. You have everything in one storage tank on the serface right beside the personnel elevator, ready to pipe it directly for processing and you have it coming out of the ground at full capacity flow.

So, if you had a 16 Drill point Ore Vein (as in this spot), you can collect up to 3 inputs (up to 6 drill points) at each level .. and you end up with 1/2 the number of full belts in the tank ready to process. So in this case, a 16 Drill Point ore mine produces 8 full 1280/min belts worth of ore out of that storage tank.
