well, I've got the option to contact new manchester before their guy arrived at my city, so I clicked out of curiosity aaand it crashed my game :/ A bummer cause I was trying to do the scenario in one sitting cause of the save bug and well I won't finish it now. Also I don't know if this was intended but it was really hard to get my hands on oil. Naturally I was searching the frostlands for a source of it but only found I think two 25000 stockpiles of it. So I thought of turning coal into oil with the factories and also turning wood into coal because also no coal otherwise and there were infinite sources of materials so that would be possible I guess. I actually think that's a cool idea, normally in normal game I don't think anyone would be doing that so that was somewhat fresh. So if it was intended I just think it would be nice if there was a hint given to the player to do it like this as it is not an obvious route. Also wouldn't Overseers make more sense in this scenario then Venturers? I get that they were added because of their heatstamps bonuses to mitigate the fact that you won't be having more citizens but having those ultra capitalists in this setting just seemed off. Overseers are also alligned with progress and merit, the only diffrence is tradition instead of reason but I don't think that's a problem, actually adds more conflict like it was intented and thematically they fit so well in this. They're basicaly just Technocrats but more british.
