Arma 3
[SLTS] MTT-810 Public Test
Bugs and feedback
Howdy!

Since it's a public test, I guess it's good idea to comment about the issues. Some of them you probably already know about, some may be new, I dunno, better to not left anything unmentioned though.

1. Right at the start there's an error about missing texture "slts_jackal\ui\picture_argos_u_ca.paa" - prolly mod icon?

2. When launching editor there's an error about missing Western Sahara UN faction. The best way to make a "soft requirement/compatibility" for unofficial DLCs is to gather those units in separate configs. Doesn't have to be a separate .pbo even - in your main .pbo just make a folder with another config.cpp. There you put the config for WS factions vehicles, however in CfgPatches of that new config add following lines:
addonRootClass = "slts_whatever_proper_class_is"; skipWhenMissingDependencies = 1;
Just remember to list Western Sahara addon classes in requiredAddons[].

This way the game will simply not load WS faction vehicle variants when WS is not loaded (and no errors will pop up in editor). BIKI article[community.bistudio.com].

3. Seems like there are too many passenger seats - last seat (number 12) just makes you sit in the middle of the undercarriage.

Now for some wishlist, if you don't mind:

1. Rearmost passenger seats could use FFV.

2. It would be great if the middle seat in the cabin could turn out of the top hatch and have the ability to FFV too! I imagine this would need modification of the model geometry and possibly even new animations though.

Hi SLTS & Krzy! I've done a small test with your mod and I didn't get the errors mentioned in the description... but I noticed that: 1 -Nato 3 colour truck don't have damage models for the tires when shoot with rifles. 2- Nato medical truck has a bug... shooting the tires with rifles makes the tires to be destroyed but when you enter the vehicle in the driving position, the tires are restored (also, no damage indication on the UI). Hope this help to improve the mod. Thanks for your efforts!

Thanks for all the feedback, it's very much appreciated. I've sorted through some of the bugs and hope to have a new version soon

Just to clear any misunderstanding - I'm not in any way involved in making this mod! I only created this thread, because it allows for nicer formatting and indexing compared to regular comments.

All thanks to Slatts and good luck! :)
