Rename Crash
If a player (or possibly other npcs) has a troop that is renamed while in the troop, or exists in the world (possibly).... The game will crash.
Any other change (other than renaming) will not cause the game to crash.

It took me a few days to find out what was causing the crash. Because I didn't even know which mod crashed the game.
But now I am 100% sure

i get a crash mid combat i do run with other mods but none of the other mods causes the game to crash

having the issue of it crashing my game mid battle. i only change the vlandians to use better armor dont change names or anything else only got this mod cause i cant stand the default vlandia.

Jem, could you explain again. I dont understand what you mean. I ran into a similar problem where the moment I reopen a save and then open the Party window the game crashes. When i search for my new troops in the game encyclopeida nothing crashes. When i travel nothing crashes. But when I try and open the party window the game insta crashes all the time.

I can see based on the number of troops in my party that all the new troops i custom created are still there when I reload the save.

You can try to clean up squads in the MCM

Can you explain what you mean by cleaning up squads?
