depends where youre from, ukraine changed it some time to be special but i've spelled it chernobyl my entire life and have only ever seen nafoids write it as chornobyl but who gaf

Чорнобиль is a Ukrainian city. If you use Ukrainian transliteration you will get Chornobyl.
Same with Kyiv (Київ) and other cities.

ChOrnobyl is the Ukrainian way of spelling, ChErnobyl is the Russian way.
