Just for extra context: What map were you playing on? This may not be the issue, but just incase.

I asked Car to follow me on a noded map, and he successfully followed me.
I am puzzled on how you are having issues... Did you install anything recently that could of conflicted with this addon? Is it purely a Car thing, or do other VJBase NPCs have trouble following?

My car works just fine as well so it has to be something on your end, probably a mod conflict.
Deactivate all other mods, restart the game and try the NPC on a noded map again.

If it is a mod conflict, see if you have any other NPC bases like CPTbase installed,

I've recently had issues with NPCs following me because of this mod as well, this is because it messes with the VJ base relationship system and some times makes NPCs neutral to you instead of friendly (Neutral NPCs don't follow you)

i played on 2 maps and car didnt even say anything when i pressed E on him and no message in chat was sent

I reinstalled the mod and other that it needs and it now works, car get stuck sometimes - just turning to me when i call him but i works fine
