- Locked Door variants that only open/unlock (can be specified) when activated with wires.
- Different materials/styles for lever switches.
- Wall Switches (with different styles) OR the ability to place levers on walls.
- Floor Switches - Pressure Plates that switch between ON/OFF after being stepped on, without needing constant player weight..
--- (cont) Floor Switches that can be Edited to determine what mobs activate and/or deactivate them,
- Rail Intersections that can change/shift their track directions when activated/deactivated.
- Compass Sensors, which work like existing Sensors, but only from certain directions (N/S/W/E, specified by the player).
- Mob Sensors that can be edited to recognize only certain Villager Jobs.
- Destructible/Trapped Switches! For fun little traps; some craftable switches that break upon activation.
Are any of these ideas feasible to add to this mod? There's a lot of great potential here!
- Locked Doors would be nice, I just need to make sure it doesn't break settler pathing.
- Different lever styles would be easy enough.
- Floor switches sound feasible.
- Railway interactions is something I could look into.
- Compass sensors sound possible.
- Villager Job sensors sound possible.
- I'm not entirely sure what you mean by trapped switches.
I plan to get back to this mod in the future, but right now I'm focusing on getting at least a beta version of my upcoming mod out first. Thanks for replying! I appreciate you listing out some challenges and priorities you've got going on right now! Shoot me a message when you're ready to revisit this mod a bit, I can offer a little bit of spritework.
And with the "Destructible switch", don't worry about it. I've since gotten better working with the tools in this mod, and made what I was looking for with gates and sensors. :)
