yeah i looked around there but didnt find it. Was he spawned randomly for u or is there a fixed spawn?

The boss spawns are all random. When you go for the rescue mission, go to the island airport and not the town.
Also, good luck finding the Night Atlas or Toolbox later, still can't find them.

That's for one quest, I'm doing "Ham Radio" and can't find the damned thing.

Yes, but that is for "The Woes of Carpentry."
Currently, I am stuck on the quests "The Southern Cross" and "Ham Radio."

I did both missions, it's really funny how little information the missions give

For "The Southern Cross" , you need to find a kind of "Dark Blue Star Map" that is location on this building, near the "Big Tower" https://imgur.com/a/Uswjuwn

I don't know if this mission is before or after cause my memory sucks, but you have a mission to place a paper in the building where the Night Atlas is located

For "Ham Radio", having the necessary items, to find the toolbox, just abandon the mission and pick it up again, the NPC says the name of the place (or city) where the toolbox is, so you just have to find the store where it is located (I don't remember at the moment)
It's a black toolbox on a shelf if I'm not mistaken

The Star Atlas is a poster on 2nd floor, wall on the left as soon as you walk in.

The toolbox for Ham Radio is in Carioca FM, first floor back storage room

When I did this mission, I was walking around the "centers", shooting to attract nearby zombies, until the boss appeared in a corner, so I believe the boss spawns are random

(apparently, this image I took represents the 'library' of Rio, it makes sense at all )
