Connecting Trailers to the Semi-Truck?

Hello, I tried connecting the fuel trailer to the semi-truck I found next to it since the fuel tanker had 1600/2000 fuel in it but I cannot seem to connect the trailer like I do when towing other things with normal cars. Can anyone help me out here?

You need to get in the car and drive the truck to the trailer, then, without getting out of the car, press the v button, and a menu will open, allowing you to attach the trailer.
