1950 - 1962
Walmart was established in 1950. It was named Walton's after Sam Walton.

1962 - 1964
In 1962, it renamed from Walton's to Walmart. The red color (for Walton's) was romoved,
and the new blue color (for Walmart) was newly added.

1964 - 1965
In 1964, Walmart is now kown as Discount City, and a new dash was added for Walmart.

In 1965, The blue color (added for Wal-Mart) was changed from blue to black.

In 1967, The company grew to 24 stores across Arkansas, and had reached $126 million in sales.
In 1968, The company opened its first stores outside of Arkansas in Sikeston, MO, and Claremore, OK.

1968 - 1969
In 1968, The same logo (added for Wal-Mart) was removed, and a new logo was added for
Wal-Mart.

In 1969, The same logo from 1964 has been readded for Wal-Mart.

1970 - 1975
In 1970, A new company called Gasolina Construction Co. had builded a store called Ikea
in Arkansas.

1975 - 1977
In 1975, Ikea (who was builded by Gasolina Construction Co.) had fire inside, and started burning.
Months later in September of 1975, police had found out that a bomb had exploded inside of Ikea.
The explosion had caused fire inside and caused it to burn to the ground. The company has found the building burned to the ground.

1977 - 1981
In 1977, A new dark blue color and a new front has now been added for Wal-Mart.

In 1981, The dark blue color and front (added for Wal-Mart) was romoved and a brown color and a new front was added for Wal-Mart.

In 1991, Gasolina Construction Co. went back to Ikea (who had burned to the ground years ago) and begins to buy it for sale and renovated by Wal-Mart.

1992 - 2007
In 1992, The brown color (added for Wal-Mart.) was replaced with the new blue color and a new star was added.
In 1993, The company has turn it in to a supercenter and adds more.
In 1994, The company added McDonald's
In 1995, Gasolina Construction Co. bilts Best Buy right next to Wal-Mart.
In 1996, The company has added 5 other stores in Wal-Mart.
