As person who like to fly helicopters in GMod, I do not like how this feature is implemented. I understand you tried to mimic how flight stick(?) work in real life but in my opinion it made flying vehicles quite hard to control. I would be happy if author changed direct control mode to something more familiar like WAC or LVS systems. In addition, some gauges and HUDs would be nice. Rest of mod is topflight.
