Meadow menu doesn't show up using Proton
When I ran the game through proton on linux, the 'Meadow' option didn't show up. For anyone else encountering this issue, add

WINEDLLOVERRIDES="winhttp=n,b" %command%

to your launch options, then disable and re-enable the mod. This fixed the issue for me.

Because unfortunately the exec doesn't seem to work despite crossover heavily being based of wine.

Try it, some reports on protondb say the game won't even launch without the option (works fine for me), so maybe that's your issue. if it doesn't work then I'm not sure what you could do, I don't know anything about crossover :(

Well, I will say this; thank you for the tip and trying to help! I'm optimistic that the issue will be resolved very shortly!

Unfortunately it didn't work. :steamsad: Something popped up saying "missing game executable" I don't think Crossover can be fixed. And I can't access Proton either since Crossover is a compatibility layer as well:steamsad::steamsad::steamsad: D-*:)

Message goes like this: incase someone else has this issue:

Open Wine Configuration in the right sidebar

Go to Libraries

From the "New override for library" dropdown, select winhttp and click "Add"

It will default to "native,builtin" which is what you want, but you can now select it from "Existing overrides" and use the Edit button to make changes.

then install as normal with workshop and enable/disable mods with the remix menu!
