- Go into mod config while in-game and turn of starlight river reflections. That should save some more fps.
- You can also remove the terraria3d mod since that also likes to consume a lot of fps.
Although I did notice that after i did this a lot of effects like blood were offset which is kind of weird and I'm not sure what's causing that.
- I had to disable CoolerItemVisualEffects, Quality of Terraria, and Enhanced Buff Display personally. I got some weapon called the "light spand" and every time I use it I would drop FPS and the game would slow down so that might help with specific weapons and such if you drop in performance when attacking. Also I had to remove all 3 of those because after i turned off the item visual effects it would crash and force me to disable the other 2.
I'm not sure what's causing my performance drop when attacking. This reduced the effects but it still drops to like 40 fps when attacking with this weapon. I'll keep looking but idk.
After doing that I was able to run the game fine at 60 fps 4k with my dated set-up. I need to get a new GPU with more vram because 8gb just isn't enough now days
creator did some design for the modpack, recorded a trailer... and he includes terraria3d in it
why?
