I think I'm the one who's to blame for this.
C&O dev here, the one who created Carnivore.
Carnivore, due to lore, has secret downside that gives her a whopping +300% damage received against shock attacks.
It's sort of a secret that normally doesn't impact you too much throughout the game, but with this certain mini-boss it matters a ton.
You normally can 5~6 hits from him with other origins, but for Carnivore, the best is up to like, 3 shot at most + certain attacks with bad luck can remove your corpus with a single hit.
That said, there is a pretty easy way of beating it, which is using I-frames(invincibility frames) of dodge & standing beside ledges & obstacles to force "Kyarichos" from teleporting to give you an easy shot.

The fight is more about baiting attacks with your movement & properly avoiding getting hit when your health's low.
It's rare when these gimmicks actually make a difference, due to how few element attacks are in the game.
