edit sorry for the dumb award, wanted to click on extra helpful one
Line 630:
Perks.Mechanical should be Perks.Mechanics
Perk.Mechanical returns 0 all the time so it made the plastic repair very very slow.
i will check it out, thanks for reporting it
it's not a bug, you can't make plastic parts currently, so you need to find one to reinforce it
So where can I find one? I've tried some auto stores but no luck.
Attaching the armor to the vehicle has the requirement "recipes = Intermediate Mechanics", which is taught by the "Magazine: Laines Commercial Auto Manual", which is associated with Heavy Duty vehicles.
The Sports version, "Magazine: Laines Performance Auto Manual", teaches the recipe "TeachedRecipes = Advanced Mechanics". My basic expectation would have been that working on a sports car requires the sports Laine's manual, but maybe since it is armor work that is considered a heavy job, or is this an oversight in the armor install recipe?
since people complained about car parts spawning in the world, you can only get them from other vehicles now sadly
it's a bunch of metal you weld together, it is not really a sport upgrade so i keep them all like that for all cars, common thing for all armor panels
