I am Aware of some major issues and am currently working to fix them. This may take some time so inform me of anything you find that is broken.
Ok so I’m pretty sure this is what max was saying above but I got the research for the x-303 mk4 refit, I’m tech level 4, btw and then took all of my cimmeria but I don’t see the actual refit is this the bug you guys were talking about?

If you have completed the Research at Earth (SG1 needs to stay until its finished) And have built any Asgard Shipyard you should be able to upgrade any X303 if you park it on that planet with the Asgard shipyard.

In the next version i have made longer staying Text popups to assist with how to do this.
i tried it again no dice it might be broken. i did everything you said to do also i noticed that the x-303 mark 3 isnt showing up either.

Just to make sure, As this happens to some people. (Mod wont load properly)
You do get the gold SGC icon on the start screen, The mods icon?.
Ok so I got the asguard refit apparently it was that the starbase level wasn’t high enough still no dice on the mark three light cruiser
Ground combat for Tau'ri is under performing. Three to four squads of infantry to kill their Jaffa counterparts is made worse that most maps you start with only population 2 or 3 and the base defense can field up to 30 at the start between garrisons and regulars. That would be fine for support units that only carry sidearms or such, but not for Marines or SpecOps carrying ARs and G36s. The BC304's should have two squadrons fielded at a time, just to showcase its double the 303.

These are less of an issue later in game, but early game when the AI is fielding whole armies and fleets, its a of a drag to sit and wait for 60 turns to roll buy so you can afford to expand into anything.
So part of the issue with Tauri ground units seems range. They have around 1/4th the combat range of everyone else and their cover ability seems to only slow them down and not add to their defense value. With a serpent guard unit I stood still and tanked a half dozen Tauri infantry units without losing a single guy. When playing the Tauri the loss rate in testing is about 12 to 1 against. So either Tauri infantry units need to 60-120 man squads to break even or some balancing is needed.

Space battles run well thankfully, but not being able to play the ground game means you're just sitting idle over worlds until you can save enough to just bum rush it. Testing really should have been done before the release.

I am actually ahead of you on that one as I also saw this issue playing out when testing my new SG teams. I am working on updating weapon ranges for ground so that it should be about even if no other buffs are taken into consideration.

As for the 304s, That Is also done on my end. I am still toying with hangar numbers for all ships.

Economy and unit count has also been tinkered with so that early game you can have more than about 20 things active.

Right now I am working on stability for late game where crashes and save corruption seems to be a big problem. I am taking my time with it so I might do a mini patch for other things in between at some point If i feel its going to take forever to do.

Micro patches are the best for balancing since it allows time to explore little changes prior to final editions. I've beta tested with mods for other games prior and personally found that "tier patches" were my favorite. Rather than entire factions or game play resets. We worked on a single tier of each faction at once. So that way we didn't risk unbalancing things overall. A side benefit is that such patches are short matters to attend to since there aren't too many items per tech tier to worry about.

Glad to hear you're ahead of the curve on the updates.
