Le Morne Uniforme

The coat looks so weird around the legs.
Almost chunky or puffy looking. Not like any other of Spy's good coats.

I will still try to make it slightly less puffy with some more hard edged sculpt in the inner part

I forgot about this. Now that it’s in the game, I’m a little dissapointed that this problem was never truly fixed. Spy’s the last class to put puffy or large clothing on, because he’s supposed to be low-profile and sleek. The original developers wouldn’t have made his default clothing so muted and uniform if that weren’t the case.

Instead of being overly dramatic on your first message, it would have been nice to give actual feedback on what to change etc, I'm always open to suggestions, but make them useful for the modeler, calling it puffy/ chunky looking with no actual direction of what to change isn't helpful

We are going to send a fix soon on some small clipping issues, mostly lower lods, and try to reduce a bit the pants thickness, feel free to send actual suggestion in case you have any, ones that are doable and not complete remake of the item, despite the item sitting at 90% positive rating I'm always all ears on feedback, just try to make it useful, and take in consideration the original historical outfit, that understandably might feel like a burrito to some I guess

I don’t feel like I was being dramatic at all, I just spoke my opinion about the cosmetic, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. But you’re right, I should’ve been more specific.

What I would’ve loved to see is the tail be shortened to about the size of the Lurker’s Leather’s. As it is right now isn’t as bad as I remember it being so I guess it doesn’t absolutely need shortening.

I think my main problem now is that the pants and boots make Spy’s legs and feet look disproportionately large compared to how he normally looks. I think it looks awkward for the Spy. Was there not a better way to add different pants? Did the boots need to be that big? It keeps him from looking like the Spy. Again, he’s supposed to be sleek and muted, and giant pants and boots don’t help.
I feel the width of the pants need to be lessened and the boots shortened so they don’t go up almost to his knees. I’m glad you’ve sent them something to address this problem, but I’m not entirely sure if it’d be implemented.

We have now made the pants closer to the base one, as close as possible, while keeping a bit of width for rigging/ military pants look (demoman pants/ soldier pants alike)

The boots are now resized as well, hopefully the fixes will be added in the next update
