As noted in the latest bug fix, I see the drones go into unending cycles of moving supplies back and forth between storage containers. I usually have multiple Large construction containers, and when they start to fill up, the drone starts moving one of the supplies back and forth until I create another container and for that material to only be stored in one container, then it stops. That I remember, it is always one of the high volume materials (I do tend to hoard ;-) ).
