Hey Juniper, very nice prison!
I have some general questions (Workshop).
How to update the "own" workshop file (e.g. A25 to A26)? I want my old prison refresh with my existing workshop page. Is this possible?
And how to create (attach) a field of discussion in the workshop?
thx for help...
To update your prison follow these steps.
1) Check your Shared Prison files in Extras to see if your Prison is still there.
-If not-
Subscribe to your prison that was uploaded to the Steam Workshop.
( You must un-sub before uploading new changes )
2) Launch Prison Architect
3) Go to Extras > Prison Sharing > Prison Name ( What ever you named it )
4) Once you load this, your game file will be updated to what ever is the most recent patch.
5) Most Importantly
If you save your imported map, it will be saved as another file.
If you wish to save any of your changes to your prison, i.e Update your prison on the workshop, you must upload.
6) To upload go to Extras > Prison Sharing and click Upload. ( This is how to update )
*Note - Uploading any new save from the Downloaded Steam Workshop map will result in another Steam Workshop entry.
Hmm they must have released a patch to fix it. normally anything could pass throught that gate regardless if it were opened or not because of the spawn point.
I'll take a look at it.
Thank you!
Thank for letting me know, i'll make a fix right now'
No, it doesn't. Still working on updating the prison to the new content. It's be rough because this code is 6 years old. It's been causing issues with tunnels and doors. Once I can get a good hotfix out I will consider the new DLC.
