This has been really bad. Crashing constantly usually in less than 6 hours. This is with 3.95 on a fairly powerful Linux dedicated server. No mods. This wasn't happening with older versions, considering rolling back.
The log output is just "Overflow".
This crashing has started recently. I'm considering rolling back to an older version. I didn't see these issues in the past, long running games were staying healthy for weeks.
I haven't really made changes that can cause such performance problems. But I have issues after the latest A3 patch.
So... rolling back seems to fix this. Not sure what that means.
The server logs just show the one word error "Overflow". This is using a dedicated Linux instance. Other missions can run for long periods of time (Insurgency for instance) but at the moment Domination crashes so frequently it is basically unplayable.
Is this problem occurring on Windows servers too or just Linux? Is there any more information I can provide to help troubleshoot this problem? Any additional logging, etc?
I just tested this by switching to Windows with the exact same server resources and game settings. It has been stable for many days, no crashes at all.
This must be an issue with Linux servers only. I will try to figure out how to file a bug with BI.
No mods, just vanilla Arma 3. It runs fine with Windows.
