Look, it might just be me...
But I don't think the worldmodels were truly "fixed"

To me they're still crotch guns...

I looked at it with the advanced bone tool and they only have "root" and "static_prop" bones. They lack Valvebiped bones entirely, so there isn't anything to bonemerge to the playermodel.

EDIT ON SEP 22: The "root" and "static_prop" bones were removed and replaced with a "ValveBiped" bone. not a "ValveBiped_Bip01_R_Hand" bone. So sadly, there's still an inability to bonemerge.

I also see that too and its super annoying because they are so cool but they have problems like that.
